104 Series Universal Actuator

The 104 Series Rotary Actuator is a field-proven proportional actuator designed for universal mounting for a variety of applications. It is designed to mount directly to Briggs and Stratton or Kohler gas engines. When de-energized, the 104 Series Electric Light Force Actuator returns to the zero position. This is accomplished by an internal spring that returns the throttle body valve to the no-fuel position when the actuator is de-energized.

120 Series Universal Actuator, 1.0 lbf·ft Torque

The 120 Series Electric Actuator is a rotary-output, linear-torque, proportional servo. This electromechanical actuator is typically used as an engine fuel control positioning device. An internal spring provides fail-safe operation by forcing the actuator to the fuel shutoff position when the actuator is de-energized. This design combines fast operation, multi-voltage usage, wider rotation angle, and proven reliability. The actuators can operate directly on 12-, 24-, or 32-volt battery supplies.

225 Series Universal Actuator, 2.2 lbf·ft Torque

The 225 Series Electric Actuator is a rotary-output, linear-torque, proportional servo. This electromechanical actuator is typically used as an engine fuel control positioning device. An internal spring provides fail-safe operation by forcing the actuator to the fuel shutoff position when the actuator is de-energized. This design combines fast operation, multi-voltage usage, wider rotation angles, and proven reliability. The actuator can operate directly from 12- and 24-volt battery supplies. The speed of operation of the actuator is typically faster than competitive units. Thus, it provides more stable and rapid response to transient conditions. Applications include fuel injection pumps (with or without mechanical governors), rotary-type pumps, and medium-sized gaseous-fueled engines. The 25 degrees of rotation expands the application to a wider variety of engines.

2001 Series Universal Actuator

12.0 lbf·ft [16.3 N·m] Net Torque • 35° Rotation

ACB2001 actuator is a rotary output, 24 V, linear torque proportional electric servo designed for mechanical actuation of fuel system control levers requiring torques in the 16.3 N∙m range. Energized by GAC’s ESD5300 Series speed control units, the actuator is capable of 35 degrees of rotation with torques as high as 16.3 N∙m. Internal springs provide fail safe operation by forcing the actuator to the fuel shut off position when the actuator is de-energized.

Engine applications include large block pumps, dual-medium carburetors and large-sized carburetors.

ALN Series Linear, Push-Type Actuators

The ALN Series Linear Actuators are designed to provide highly accurate, precise positioning for a closed-loop control with a minimum number of moving parts, which prolongs the life of the actuator. These linear actuators provide a quick response time and can be used for different applications. The fast-acting actuator is completely self-contained. It requires only a firm mounting surface, appropriate linkage to the fuel control and electrical connection to the speed control unit. The actuators are not gravity sensitive and therefore can operate in any position. The actuators are compatible with GAC’s standard speed control units.
