Governors America Corp. has transitioned registrars for ISO9001:2015 and AS9100:D certification. We are now certified with TÜV SÜD America Inc., an internationally recognized testing, inspection, and certification organization that sets the bar for quality in the certification industry.

CE

CE

The CE marking indicates a product’s compliance with European Union (EU) legislation and so enables the free movement of products within the European market. By affixing the CE marking to a product, a manufacturer declares, on his sole responsibility, that the product meets all the legal requirements for the CE marking, which means that the product can be sold throughout the European Economic Area (EEA, the 28 Member States of the EU and European Free Trade Association (EFTA) countries Iceland, Norway and Liechtenstein). This also applies to products made in other countries, which are sold in the EEA. GAC is certified CE compliant.


CSA Group

The CSA Group is a global organization dedicated to safety, social good and sustainability. They are a leader in Standards Development and in Testing, Inspection and Certification around the world including Canada, the U.S., Europe and Asia.  

With a century of experience, CSA Group works with a team of technical experts and a global network of testing labs to help assess products’ compliance to applicable safety and performance requirements. The CSA mark is recognized and accepted by regulators and Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJs) and appears on billions of products all over the world. CSA Group is accredited and recognized by numerous organizations around the world in various fields, including SCC in Canada and OSHA and ANSI in the U.S.

DNV-GL

DNV-GL

DNV-GL is an international certification body and classification society with main expertise in technical assessment, advisory and risk management. It was created in 2013 following a merger between two leading organizations in the field: Det Norske Veritas (Norway) and Germanischer Lloyd (Germany).‍

RINA

Rina

Being RINA certified allows for s a wide range of high-quality, tailored solutions in the energy, marine, certification, transport and infrastructure industry sectors. RINA certifications give an independent guarantee of compliance with associated regulatory standards. ‍

‍RoHS 3‍

RoHS stands for restriction of hazardous chemicals and impacts the electronics industry specifically. The original RoHS originated in the European Union in 2002, restricting the use of six hazardous materials. RoHS 3 (EU Directive 2015/863) adds Category 11 (catch-all) products and adds four new restricted substances—all phthalates.

  • Mercury (Hg): < 1000 ppm
  • Hexavalent Chromium: (Cr VI) < 1000 ppm
